CPCS Sustainability Summary 2019 - 2020

Waste Management We strive to minimise waste generation in procurement, production and operational planning; reduce waste by reusing and recycling materials; and enhance stakeholders’ awareness on waste management. Food Donation Food Donation during COVID-19 During COVID-19 pandemic, faced with the drastic drop in demand for air travel, CPCS was facing a surplus supply of inflight meals. In April and May, CPCS had collaborated with one of its long-term partners, Food Angel, to help them feed those in need in Hong Kong. CPCS was pleased to make special donations of our inflight economy meals (in particular the sambal chicken, roasted beef and fish with cheese and spinach) to Food Angel. In April, CPCS arranged delivery of around 4,000 meals and donated further 26,000 ready-prepared meals to the organization’s community kitchen in May. 廢物管理 我們盡力減少因採購 、 生產及營運規劃過程所 產生的浪費 、 透過循環再用物料減廢 , 同時加強 持份者對廢物管理的意識 。 食物捐贈 COVID-19 食物捐贈 隨著 COVID-19 病毒席捲全球 , 面對航空旅行 需求的急劇下降 , CPCS 需面對飛機餐膳食 供應過剩的問題 。 於 4 月和 5 月 , CPCS 與 長期合作夥伴之一 「 惜食堂 」 合作 , 提供食物予 香港有需要人士 。 CPCS 很高興能向惜食堂特別 捐贈經濟艙膳食 ( 特別是叁巴雞 、 烤牛肉 、 烤魚 配芝士伴菠菜 ) 。 在 4 月 , CPCS 安排捐贈約 4,000 份膳食 , 並 於 5 月再向惜食堂的社區廚房捐贈了 26,000 份 即食餐 。 1,174,851* 241,763* 2019 2020 Food Waste Recycling 廚餘回收 *kg 公斤 Environment – Waste 環境 - 廢棄物
